The VELUX GPL roof window combines the dual function of a top hung roof window with a means of emergency escape or access. Opening is assisted by powerful yet gentle springs. The window opens to any angle up to 45 degrees. The top control bar operates both the ventilation flap and centre-pivot function for easy cleaning of the window. Installation is possible for roof pitches between 15 and 55 degrees and up to 75 degrees with ther use of special springs.
