Ingenious installation system "Patented click-mechanism with SAFE-LOCK®-profile: Simply push the planks together and let them lock in securely."
Bonds for life Many years ago the task of installing a new flooring was ususally left with a professional installer. Later, encouraged by tongue-and-groove connections more and more experienced do-it-yourselfers would take on the job themselves. Nowadays, with most laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring products featuring convenient Click-connections the installation process of flooring planks and also of ceiling and wall panels has become an easy task to do for any do-it-yourselver. The Parador-brand is a company that has majorly influenced this development process. The first natural flooring products as well as the first wall and ceiling panels that entered the market with new Click-mechanisms were inventions actually by Parador. Throughout the development of the new Click-connections a lot of attention was attached to make them user-friendly. As a result of this the Parador AUTOMATIK-CLICK system comes with Click-connections on both the longitudinal and the short-end side of the planks, which interlock simultaneously with one single "Click".
In comparison to other products requiring two different steps to connect the longitudinal and the short-end side this leads to a number of decisive advantages. The installation process is faster and easier as the use of a hammering block or heel bar is unnecessary. The flooring planks are joined together through simple a swiveling motion and a tap from the top with the hammering protection - no need for the hammering procedure of the horizontal interlocking mechanism. For flooring installations with full-surface bonding the interlocking mechanism on the short-end side provides for a particularly mess-free and efficient procedure. The short-end side interlocks from the top, during this process the flooring plank is automatically pushed into the adhesive layer and no additional sliding is required. This prevents hands and tools from coming involuntarily in contact with the adhesive and leaving bothersome stains or traces of adhesive.
Another advantage of the AUTOMATIK-CLICK system is the installation sequence one plank after the other. In contrast to other systems it is not necessary to join the short-ends of all planks in a row together before inserting the longitudinal side of that row into the groove of the row that is already in place. If at some point in time the floating floor (i.e. not glued to the subfloor) you would like to change the floor or would like to take it along into a new home, the disassembly of this type of flooring is considerably easier than with conventional tongue-and-groove-connections and other Click-systems, too. The youngest family memeber in the group of Parador flooring products with AUTOMATIK-CLICK system is the wideplank format Laminate Trendtime 1, which since autumn this year is supplied featuring the innovative Click-system. |
